Want a bit of cheeky hip-hop with that Uematsu soundtrack? The legends at Team Teamwork (who created the equally-kitschy Ocarina of Rhyme album) have given you that very option by remixing the classic Final Fantasy VII soundtrack with the likes of Jay-Z, MOP, Outkast and Ghostface Killah.
It’s brilliantly weird and ever-so-slightly cool (perhaps that’s subjective, though).
Perhaps the weirdest of the selection is the opening track, the dream-like ‘Spacious Thoughts’ theme that appears on the title screen of most of the Final Fantasy series.
Following a trend made mainstream by Radiohead back in 2008, you can pay whatever you want to download Vinyl Fantasy 7, but the album is available as a preview on its homepage.
